There are several references to "ptsnoop.exe". The first being, do you have a Compaq computer? Second, has to do with the modem that came with your computer. Third and probably the case is :http://www.europe.f-secure.com/v-descs/ptsnoop.shtml Go to that site and remove the probable "backdoor" tr*jan that you have picked up. The above site will give instructions on how to remove the program It is an outbound reporting program which could have been picked up by a Firewall program or a program like Ad-Aware which would have scanned your system for intrusive programs like this.
