To one and all on the list, After the last couple of weeks, and countless re-installs of Win98SE (apparently seems more do to hardware releated issues than software - not 100% sure of anything right at this moment), was wondering if there are any Dos email programs available, and the ability to setup communication with a modem on one of the serial ports, available.
Luckily, I have been able to get my home emails on my system at work, but this is definitely not the solution I want, believe me. BUT with the problems I have had with windows, I was wondering what, if anything, might be found for getting emails similiar to Netscape 3.04 Gold or Communicator 4.7x. Unfortunately, it has been so long since I was involved with email operations in Dos, I have forgotten what is involved in setting up communication software for talking to an external modem on serial port 2. Any ideas that anyone on the list can sugguest for software for communication with the modem as well as getting email from earthlink??? HELP!!!!!
