Answer: It could be; it's possible. And I don't want to reinstall an older backup of the registry since I've installed some programs while this taskbar travesty continued. How can I tell if it is a registry problem? If it is, how can I tell what change has to be made? If it's not, what then? I'm not throwing it on you now; just wondering (but sure would like to fix it before doing a complete system restore). Actually all my settings are what they should be so I can go on with it this way ... just that I've lost that feeling of "being in control of my taskbar" ... I think common with puter adicts. I guess I should be more in control of myself when I enter the hallowed grounds of the registry ... Harold Original message: > > Something happened to my taskbar.
