the subject line works fine, but it can't have spaces (at least that's my
experience)...try this and see if it works:

mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=My_Reply

(note the underscore between My and Reply)......I'm using Office 2k/Win 2k
and this works as a shortcut on my desktop)

Subject: PCWorks: mail shortcut subject line

I use some desktop shortcuts at work to send frequent emails to groups of
people. I set them up using new>shortcut and using the mailto:[address]
method in order to make it a one click process instead of having to go
through adding distro lists, etc.
What I was wondering was, is there a way (like when using HTML), to specify
the subject line of the messsage when the window opens. I tried the
mailto:[address]?Subject:";, but it doesn't work. Or if someone else knows
of an easier method that may work when using Office2k/Win2k.
