Have you given OE privileges in your Zone Alarm? I use both OE and The Bat and have question marks in ZA so ZA asks me whenever I sign on to either mail program and attempt to access or send mail. I also use cable and ZA asks me when I bring up Opera and I answer yes for the first time of the day. The browser and mail programs can be granted access in ZA without asking. I just prefer seeing the question when I first sign on to my computer.
