That figure wasn't my opinion, that's what was at that link...but so far after about 4 yrs, I haven't had any go bad due to media failure. (This is stored in jewel cases, cheap media and better media, climate controlled to a point you might say since it's heated and air conditioned, but w/very low humidity). -Clint
