Hi everyone, need a little help please!
We use Windows 98 in a dual Hebrew\English edition. To
change the interface
language it is necessary to reinstall Windows. I have
done this many times
and usually simply rename "win.com" to something else
(normally "win.old" )
and then reinstall to the SAME directory eg.
"c:\Windows". I have now come
across a computer where it won't work and wonder if
anyone can tell me why.
It installs as far as 20% then gives an error message :
"SUWIN caused a
General Protection Fault in module KRNL386.exe at
0001:D4E7" there is no
antiv*rus at this point, I'm doing setup from DOS , and
the computer is a P
III 450 with 128Mb and a 20GB hard disk.
Help would be appreciated.
