You need to put the MSCDEX file and the cdrom driver on the boot floppy.
You also need to include the appropriate lines in the config.sys and
autoexec.bat files so that when booting, the cdrom drive is recognized
during the initiation of the system.  Here is a website that gives you
all of the information as well as a source that you can get generic CD
rom drivers to make the disk in light of the fact that you cannot get
them from setting up the cd until you can recognize the cd (Catch-22
<G>).
