I just received a card from my DSL Internet provider SBC - formerly PacBell. This card advises that anyone upgrading to Windows-XP OS should go to http://dialup.pacbell.net/help.html and D/L the appropriate drivers. I have been using XP with my current "WESTELL - WIRESPEED" modem now for a few months and the connection is instantaneous with XP, and also my e-mail, so I'm not about to D/L any new drivers that could slow things down. I thought I'd post this for anyone that might be having problems with their XP connections.
