The world will end!. Oops wrong mailing list. If you have a v*rus like Badtrans (and others) then you MUST erase the contents of your System Restore folder. You will not lose any of your ordinary data. For Windows ME and XP 1. Right-Click the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop, select 'Properties' and then choose 'Performance'. 2. Click 'File System' and then click the 'Troubleshooting' tab. 3. Click to select the 'Disable System Restore' check box and click 'Apply'. Then click to clear the 'Disable System Restore' check box and click 'OK'. 4. Restart the computer. The contents of your System Restore folder will be erased. 5.
