Hi Rich. Sounds like normal.dot is corrupt or has some weird paragraph formatting attached to it....close Word and search your hard drive for a file named normal.dot and rename or delete all instances of it....open Word and it will create a new one...see if this fixes it

If you open a new document and type one line then go to the next line it skips you down to the next page. If you open a existing document and then delete all of the text and re-type it is ok. I know it has to do with the setup of word so I uninstalled it and re-installed it and I still have the same problem. It seems like I have fixed this in the past by deleting some files in windows. Does anyone know how to fix this..rich ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
