A co-working has just ordered a LinkSys package consisting of a Linksys 8
port Switch w/ two 10/100 Network Cards and additionally a Linksys PCMCIA
network card for his laptop. He initially wants to be able to share files
and printers between his computer, his laptop and his kid's computers. This
I can help him set up, no problem. He is running Win98SE on all his
computers.

However, he would also like to be able to access AOL through the AOL DSL
connection. The DSL modem is USB connected to his main PC. As we all know,
you cannot access an AOL account more than once at a time. So we are not
talking about sharing the connection. He just wants to be able to use the
connection (to the USB DSL modem) on any of the computers when it is not
being used on the main computer or another.....

So I guess we are talking about the Windows 98 alleged ability to share
modem connections. What do we need to do software and network wise to set
this up??
