Thank you, but that didn't answer my question. :-) NS IS
removing something, because the "Header" IS there with other
email programs, and I HAVE seen the header there with a few
other's NS email program. I need to know how NS can be made
to show this header that has the sender's email address in
it, that other email programs (and NS in some instances) are
capable of showing. (as in the steps to configure it to so
this so I can pass it along).

Without getting into a NS debate, :-) I fail to see how the
'correct position' of a sig file is below all threads and
below a footer. The logical place for it is after one's
typed text. If it were not for mine and it's position,
members would have to scroll down to the very bottom of this
thread to just to see who sent it.

Email programs are not people. ;-) Since those that are
watching a thread with interest (or the one that posted the
original email) already knows what the original question was,
it's stands to reason they do not want to have to read it
again or scroll through it in order to see the latest answer.
I guess that's just a matter of preference or viewpoint.

In addition to Kelly Younger's answer, some additional
comments...

Signatures belong at the bottom of a message after the
"cutmarks" (normally
seen as two dashes). Hence, Netscape (and other standard
programs) places
them in the correct position. The reason for this is to allow
removal by
pseudo-anonymous remailers and also standard mail readers
that require
deleting of "footer" (which includes signatures) information.

NS doesn't remove headers, in fact no e-mail program does.
All e-mail
programs only "show" some or certain headers. To see the
remaining headers
usually requires an extra menu step in the program. Eudora
requires the
"blah blah blah" button (show all headers); Outlook Express
requires
Right-click -- Properties -- Details, Pine requires "H" key
(full header
display), etc.

The main problem with MS products is that they are always
making their
products different from the way "standard" and pre-existing
software works.
They are always trying to re-define standards which makes it
extremely
difficult for those individuals that used products long
before MS ever had
one available.

Except for the TV game Jeopardy, most people provide an
answer after a
question is asked, not before. Hence, the standard practice
of seeing a
message followed by the answer. Not the MS backwards method
of the answer
followed by the question. USENET and e-mail both predate MS's
entry into the
Internet where all the standards and methods of doing things
were first laid
out. These pre-existing methods are the current standards and
no matter how
much MS wants to change them, they cannot.
