MS has a whole slew of articles about Invalid Page Faults but very few about
Invalid Instruction Executed.. The Norton reference was given because at one
time their AV program contributed to most of these error messages. Another
program that also contributes is Netscape Navigator.

Articles that Discuss Invalid Page Faults (one long URL!!!)
http://support.microsoft.com/common/canned.aspx?R=d&H=Articles+that+Discuss+
Invalid+Page+Faults&LL=support&Sz=kbieipf&CDID=EN-US-KB&LCID=1033

A link to this same URL can be found in this article;
Error Message: "Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module
Kernel32.dll" (Q187965)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q187965

General Protection Fault or Invalid Page Fault in Navigator.

If you read some of these articles you will see that a common "thread" to
all of them is conflict with a non-MS program. So I'd bet that some
revised/updated/changed program is now contributing to the problem. One of
the other common solutions recommended by MS is to run System File Checker
(sfc.exe) looking for changed or corrupted files.
