Carl, Since I use Netscape, you can easily create any mail folder - all you have to do is open Messenger, click on File, and on the list is an option to add a Folder - when you click on this option, you get a box so you can name your new folder. Fill this in with Save, save, and that should recreate your Save folder. Unfortunately, any previously saved messages were lost when you deleted the original Save folder.
However, depending on what has happened since you originally deleted the Save folder, you MIGHT (repeat - MIGHT) be able to restore the original Save and Save.snm files in the mail folder in Netscape Communicator / Messanger. IF you deleted while in Win95, then did you open the recycle icon and delete out of there??? If you did, you probably can not restore, and you need to recreate a new Save folder while in Messanger. However, if you did not do this already, you might not have lost it - just open the recycle bin and click on to restore back. Sometimes, if you know how to work in Dos, you can boot to a pure Dos environment, and use the undelete command, while in the mail directory, to undelete both the Save and Save.snm files. But this requires you have a full understanding of how to get around Dos and use the Dos commands. And then this will not always work, depending on what has been done previous to this point. Hope this helps, Ralph Carl Mercer wrote: > > I have Win95, Netscape Messenger.
