Hi Karl,

I had the same challenge when I installed Outpost.  What I did to work 
around the situation till I understand the configurations more, is to 
select "Trusted Applications" in Outpost >Options>Applications and then 
select Add and browse to the Symantec/Liveupdate folder  and then add all 
the files there to the Trusted Applications configurations.  I may want to 
change that later, but for now I figure Liveupdate is fairly trustworthy.

I will need to do some further study on that.
