HA! In the 'web' folder, yes. In the system folder, yes,
yes to system32 as well, But not in the program files
folder, never have had it there (win98). Now, I think in
this thread I mentioned that when this problem began, the
folder.htt file WAS in the program files folder! I don't how
or why it got there, and that is why this happened, and I
could not get into it!
http://orpheuscomputing.com/folderproblem.gif So I had to
remove the folder.htt file from it, and then it went back to
normal, and I could 'view as webpage'. (BTW, in the 'web'
folder, the folder.htt file is NOT a 'hidden file').

Thats it Clint...you are jinxed :)
Do you have the folder.htt in these folders: C:\Windows\Web,
C:\Windows\System, C:\Windows\System32, C:\Program Files? I
know the one
for the Web folder does control the functionality for the
entire windows
installation so if you have deleted it then it could be
creating
irregularities in the system with it's loss. Also just
because MS says that
this file or that folder will change or not doesn't mean
anything except
that maybe the help manual is twice as thick with what ifs.
