Been there, done that..... your hard drive is failing. If you haven't saved what you want by now, it may already be too late. I ignored errors and the like and finally lost one of my two hard drives. That took 3 months worth of pictures and a number of other things. Fortunately, I had most of it in recent backups so was able to recover somewhat, but the pictures were the biggest loss. The kernal error is because the drive cannot be read rapidly when booting. If you get the error of an invalid drive, then its too late to recover anything.
