Check you BIOS/CMOS setup for: Floppy Drive Seek at Boot (found in advanced settings) Controls whether the Floppy drive A is powered up at boot-up. Disable this. Report No FDD for Windows 95 (found in advanced settings) This setting fools Windows 9x into thinking there is no floppy controller installed, thus freeing up that IRQ. If you're on a PC or laptop with no internal floppy drive, you should enable this. FDD Controller (found in integrated peripherals) Disable your motherboard's on-board floppy disk controller. -- Gerry Boyd ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
