Carol,

I'd bet that the ideas are just the same. The only thing that would be 
different would be the actual directory where NAV is storing the definition 
files. All she would need to do is to download the definition file to a 
directory (I use C:\downloads for all mine) and then execute the batch 
file. Call it something like Navupdate.bat. This batch file would then copy 
the files from c:\download to c:\ProgramFiles\nav\whatever.
