Hi All Trying to install older (Yamaha PSR-36) keyboard through a soundcard joystick / midi port.
Have the cable for MIDI in/out from the keyboard to the db-15 sound card port. The sound card works with the "Music Ace" program through the sound card, can select and test drivers/voices OK. Cannot run the MIDI in or out Diog. to/from the keyboard. I looked at the manual but it makes no mention of details of what is required (drivers??) Looking around the Yamaha site I see drivers listed but cannot determine what drivers to use. Can someone put me on track of the basics of learning about MIDI interface?
