In windows 9X and ME I use the following string to shut down the machine from the desktop.
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindows Is there a similar command for Windows 2000 or for XP? I haven't found rundll on the NT based machines. TIA Paul J.
