Ralph, this may be extending further since the HP/Compaq merger is causing a support rift through home, corporate, and portable channels. Some equipment is virtually disappearing in regards to driver updates, software upgrades etc. I know some corp's with Deskpro's who were evaluating a migration to XP, now the rompaq's may be on hold, so is the migration. They are advised to buy new hardware so their evaluation team is considering Linux instead. Oh, and a new Microsoft licensing program is about to be released which few are looking forward to as well :(
