Probably just meant you were low on resources, Larry...and yes, the only way to get them back using Windows 98 is to reboot
Here's a great article written by Hal Cardona on System Resources: http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/hal3.htm Linda Publisher ~ ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers Owner ~ Linda's Computer Stop http://personal-computer-tutor.com FREE MS Office eBook Tutorial http://personal-computer-tutor.com/library.htm -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, August 02, 2002 2:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PCWorks: Little 8's I just had something happen that I have never seen before. I was on the internet and noticed that things were a bit slow. It took about 3 minutes for my email to come thru even though I only had 2 messages. I turned AOL off and hit start and saw 8's where you usually have the arrow head with no tail. I am using a Dell T450 with Win 98 and pentium 3. Has anyone seen this before and what does it mean. I restarted and everything went back to normal. TIA LarryB ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
