About a week ago I sent an email to PCWorks asking for help on a problem I am still having. No one answered my request. All of the emails that I send are sent out by my Norton Anti**** program. When I read Marlene's recent email concerning v*******, I am wondering if perhaps mine has something at the bottoms of the email that would prevent you all from receiving it. I am sending it again. Here it is:
"I have my monitor (hp pavilion f70) set at 1280x768 screen resolution and color quality at 32. My computer is an HP Pavilion 7975, and I have Windows XP. Just yesterday the following problem began: when I first turn my computer on in the morning, my desktop comes up at the scrren resolution and color quality that I have set it at. Then immediately the screen turns black and my desktop appears set 640x480 pixels screeen resolution and color quality at 8. With my myriad icons on my desktop, only a few of them appear as the icons are so large at this setting! Of course, it's no problem to right click on the desktop, click on properties, and redo the settings. After that, I have no more problems unless I happen to turn my computer off or restart it, and then the odd settings again appear. Can someone tell me what caused this and how I can fix it. My computer is not even a year old yet. Thank you. Ann Parker" ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
