Hello All, I have, over time, inadvertently made some of my Local Mail folders sub-folders of other folders.(I have 142 of them) This would occur when I was dragging an email to a folder and instead managed to drag a folder to another folder, at which point I would end up with the + box to look at the now new sub-folder.
My question is how can I restore these sub folders to the original separate folder status. I have tried and tried and all I seem to be able to do is screw up and make yet more sub folders. I have W2k,Netscape 4.0. BTW Thanks for all the replies on the 1 hour shutdown problem. Have new HD and will do new install. I'll let everyone know what the fix is when I find it.
