Go to the internet options and open the 'security' tab, 'internet', and 'custom level', scroll down and be sure you have some Java enabled. You do NOT want ALL of it enabled. You just have to change one at a time and try until you get the effect you want. Sometimes you can try the 'privacy' tab and try changing the slider lower. IE6 takes a LOT to get used to with cookies and Applets/Java. It usually takes a good bit of tweaking to get the full function of many sites. -Clint
God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cindy Pavey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Recently I upgraded from IE 5 to IE 6. Since that time I have been unable to view some Java pop-up windows. It doesn't even happen on all Java pop-ups, only on certain sites. I do use a fire wall but it never interfered with those sites before I upgraded my IE. So I suppose some of my settings on IE are changed but I don't have a clue what to look for or change. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Cindy ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
