After installing the firmware for the router, every thing is running fine and I can connect each PC independently. Sharing files is messed up a little, but I can work on that later. Sorry for jumping the gun on this one. Jeff
Good day every one. I gave up on the wireless idea because I did not want to invest in all the extra cards for every PC. I did purchase a Belden Cable/DSL Gateway router. Problem is, it appears this is only to be used for one computer connection. With the hub I had, all PC's connected to the Internet using WinPoet. I did not have to have the gateway computer connected for the others to connect. Do all routers function this way, or can you configure them to allow each PC to connect as needed?
