I have a friend who has a Dell Inspiron 8100 LapTop running with Windows XP
Home and she has a continual problem when she tries to dialup her Earthlink
account when the computer is in AC power mode. Her computer only dials up
when it is on battery for some reason. Is there a special power management
setting that needs to be enabled?
I have told her that to the best of my knowledge there are 5 power settings
in XP but I do not know for sure. She is so frustrated that she is sending
it back to Dell.
Any one have any ideas?
