Hi Patricia in Australia, Re the opening of *tif* files, I searched for them in my system, Windows98, and found only one (one called "Ms" and found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Grphflt).
Another program that opens it is IrfanView, though in this particular case, it didn't need any help ... I highly recommend two graphics proggies: Lview and IrfanView for graphic work (both free and easily picked up on the Internet). Now I'm wondering what that Ms file is all about.
