Subject: PCWorks: PowerQuest Drive image users: getting odd warning

Does anyone know what this means and is IT SAFE to say "yes"
to it? This happens every time I click the Drive Image .exe
file. I'm afraid it may delete a whole partition...or worse.

Hi Clint,

I use Drive Image 4 and have a similar situation. Whenever I do a restore, I get a similar warning. Once, I told the program to go ahead and redo the partition and it bombed out. I had to format, do a clean restore and this time said no. Now, I routinely say no. I keep an image on my D:\ drive and even when I reformat the C:\ drive I get the same Drive Image Error. I guess it is the way DI, records the data as a "mirror", but don't really know.

I too have a couple of gigs tied up in cybermystery. I don't really miss them, yet, but I guess I will have to use something like Norton to get a different mirror copy and then see what happens.

Let us know if you get an answer.

Roger
