Thank you Carol and Linda ... Problem was both the Explore and Open lines were
grayed out.

Your advice worked like a charm (seems everything's perfect now; until...) And
now a question:

I know I have many device drivers, each one having the purpose, I think, of
accessing the different hardware and make them work. But for "drives" I thought
the only drives I have are A-the floppy, B-I never use that, C-the harddrive,
D-the slot where I keep my RW-CD (for backups), and E (where I might put another
CD for copying purposes). And that was it.

What are all those other drives listed in TweakUI? ... The My Computer tab has
the entire alphabet from A to Z? The tweaker says to "remove the checkmark from
etc" ... so which are needed and which are not needed? Where am I mixed up
between "drives" and "drivers"?
