Hi from Brighton Beach again (posting this the second time; I'm sure somone out there has to know how to fix the plus signs in my Windows98 setup) ... As I said, I knew a perfect system couldn't last too long in my hands. Now for the problem:
In the Explorer Window (which is my default setting when clicking "My Computer"), the plus signs in the left pane stopped working. The left pane icons open the right side allowing me to access whatever I want there. And as I open folders in the right pane, the tree in the left extends just up to that point. Probem is I cannot vertically extend the right page tree.. Everything else works fine but without the proper use of the plus signs for extending the tree in the left pane, the use of the window is somewhat limited. And getting ready for Arbor Day (remember, last Friday in April), I thought some tree fixing would be in order. I really don't think it was a registry problem as I re-installed the registry backup as soon as I noticed the problem (I had been removing all "backweb" references from the registry). So forgive my choice of words but ... I need a fix (or a tree surgeon?). Harold B. ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
