Bob (and Gerry), I just did it ... in Netscape 4.79, I went to "C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program" and the file to look for is "sendto32" ... putting a shortcut to that file into the SendTo folder (found in Windows) will open a email window. I thought maybe the contents of the file would appear there too but, guess I'm wrong there.
