I want to thank all those who answered my post regarding my friend and her
unfortunate incident with her laptop and a danish.
She did not have a chance to remedy her situation as her laptop was stolen
from the front seat of her car. She was driving through a snow storm where
she had left the danish on her keyboard and driven on all the while being
unable to pay attention to anything but the snow covered road. A couple
days afterward she landed her car in a deep ditch after losing control of
it, so some time between ending up in the ditch and being extricated from
said ditch the laptop was taken.
This is doubly unfortunate as all her work is on her laptop. So now she is
investing in a new laptop with bio metric security, just in case.
I wonder if she might want one with spill resistant keyboard too :)
