I needed to set up an HP 4050N printer that was sitting on a LAN with a static IP. The work stations trying to use the printer are running Windows 98. I went to download JetAdmin software from the HP site (which I have done before) and found that they have removed it for Win98 (only NT and Solaris was available). I'm sure I have a Win98 version of JetAdmin around somewhere and will look for it, but I thought there was a way to set Win98 up to print to an IP address as a port (without using additional software)?? It is built into Windows XP Pro, but I could not find a way to do it in 98.
Anyone know how??? ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
