If you install it and set it active as I described before then right click on the MSVDM on the task bar you will get a menu. Uncheck Shared Desktops and it will allow you to organize a cluttered desktop. So you can have your browser and email on one desktop, your fav spreadsheet app in another, some tools in another, and each one is easy to see and access. The only downside to it's use is it might suck up memory though not much more if you already have 8 applications continually running anyways. Plus XP needs 256 mb to be happy so for most people it is not a consideration.
