Hello again Lee,

Anythings's possible, from a mail server "hiccup" to my posting a bounced
message for a member and them realizing thier message was going to bounce,
correcting the problem and re-sending it. That's one reason I don't manually
post too many messages any more.

Off hand, if there is a mail server problem, my vote would be that it's your
ISP. I say this because I very rarely get a duplicate message, and I've not
had complaints from others about this.

I've also seen filters and/or rules cause duplicate messages, but this does
not seem to be your problem.

If it becomes more than a nuisance, I would call my ISP and ask them about
it, although most are notorious for denying any responsibilty or problems
on thier systems.

Regards,

Marlene

Hi Marlene,

Thanks for the input. This does make sense in some cases but one other
thing I've noticed is the "dates sent" are the same but the "time sent"
might be several minutes to a couple of hours apart.

Not a big deal I guess, just makes for a little extra mail coming through,
which makes for a little extra reading and if you have to pay for your
online time, a little extra money for some people. Don't suppose the ISP
could be sending the message twice?

Thank You,

Lee Ross
