Easiest way is to use a program specifically for this. See "Express Assist" here. http://orpheuscomputing.com/computers/software.html -Clint
God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner Want to exchange links with us? http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harold B" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi Mike, I don't use Outlook Express, but I do use their address book Actually I delete Outlook Express but first keep the four following files in an Address Book folder I created and place into the Program Files directory. What I do is copy the WAB file and Wabmig file (and the 2 hidden dll's) into an an "Address Book" folder on a floppy or wherever you keep your backups. Possibly the "wab": file is all you need ... I'd appreciate if other's would correct me in that matter. Then when backing up, I open the address book, click File, Export, Address Book (Wab), and copy it to my backup. And once in awhile, just to have a backup of the wab file, I open the address book window, hightlight it, press Ctrl+C, and copy the entire book in text form into a word processor. I know it would be a job putting all that information back into a new address book but, that's better than losing all the information. There are other ways that include exporting Text File (comma separated values) ... as usual with computering, there are many trains that go to Chicago. ...
