Hi Liz, WJVIEW is the Microsoft Command Line Loader for Java. Why don't you check under the following areas to see where the problem is coming from: (You will be looking for a wjview command entry.) Startup group - or Win.ini load= or run= entries - or use regedit and look under: HKLM \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run You "should" be able to then track the entry to the program that is "having problems", and either remove the entry, or reinstall the program to correct the problem. You might want to consider going to www.windowsupdate.com and installing the critical patches and drivers, and if time and internet bandwidth permit, the recommended fixes. Be sure you reload the java virtual machine. I had downloaded a program which I later had regrets about and it really messed things up.. as it acted as a server.... It also caused the freeze ups..
