Hello List, I recently setup a system using Win-Me. I created a System Restore point and all went A-OK. After installing all my Programs which included a new version of McAfee Spam killer, I tried to create another system Restore point, NO GO. Message that the system needs to be rebooted. After a reboot, still no go. Went to Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q290700 and installed the Restore fix. Still no help. Since I had used ME for several months when it first came out, with no problems, I decided to remove McAfee Spam Killer and all components to see if this might be the problem. Well, my hunch paid off and the System Restore works fine now. Thought perhaps this message might help someone else to retain their sanity. . .
