I have just upgraded to XP Pro from Win 98 and use WinFax Pro for faxing. I have had no problem in Win 98 but in XP when I try to print a check from Quickbooks 2002 I get this message that the printer driver does not have the fonts and to click ok and other fonts will be used. I click ok but the fax software does not react. I have tried this with two different types of faxing software and it appears as though it is an XP problem. All upgrades to XP have been downloaded and installed. When I use QB to fax a report no problem just checks are the problem. Fonts have been checked changed etc to no avail.
Thanks Larry
Larry are you using WinFax 10.02, as it is the only version compatible with XP. Symantec lists an error with QB 2000 but their fix is to reinstall with a new cd from them, doesn't sound like a fix to me. Is your printer on USB or LPT?
