I looked in our archive to try and find a solution to the
problem below but could only find that Clint had posted the same problem in
the past few months without finding an answer so far as I could tell. I found
the answer at another board that worked for me at the website below. I thought
I would post it here to get the info into our archives. It was a missing DLL.

"I did a reinstall on XP Home and now the spell checker doesn't work.
I have installed Word 97 and also check marked the boxes in spellchecker
and hit Apply. The spell checker worked fine prior to this reinstall.
Clicking the "spelling" icon on an email gives an "error has occurred"
message, and sending an email and letting it check automatically brings up a
pop up window saying; "The spelling check on this document was halted, do you
want to continue?"
Any help would be most appreciated."
