In the hour of 02:54 PM 8/1/2003 +0200, Miroslaw J. Wiechowski spoke this:
Hi,

I've seen somewhere a program which allows monitoring of
all changes that various installation programs make to the
system. It was not INCTRL5 (I have this already). The name
sounded like "hot / spot" or something like this.

Anybody can help?

Regards
mjw

There is Filemon from SysInternals http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/filemon.shtml. It works on win 9x, win2k, XP, and 2003, as well as Linux. Plus it is free.

It is quite powerful and flexible too.
