Hey good. But I don't know what you mean by this Ann:

You're using OE for your email so I can't understand what problem you
are/were having. I mentioned to you about the "Re" in the subject line
off-list but I don't know how that comes into play here. :-) Are you on
digest for the list? If so, and you need to reply to something, just 'copy
and paste' the text from the digest email into a new email. Also copy and
paste the subject line from that email in the digest into the subject of
the reply (new email) with "Re:" in the subject line prefixing the subject.

If you're not on digest then just simply click 'reply' on the toolbar for
the email you want to reply to (the email you're reading in the preview
pane). "Re:" will be automatically added, the text you're replying will be
there in the message body then type your response, and of course remove the
footer, remove the old email header (but leave the last responder's name
and email address), and remove any old text no longer pertinent to the
thread.

Hi. Thanks to Clint and Ed for trying to help me with this problem.
(Clint,
thanks for telling me that I should not erase a message from someone
elsetype
mine in and sent it to the group. Now I know that I must pull down a new
sheet to ask for help.)

With your input I finally figured it out. Now I have my solid blue welcome
screen and don't have to click on anything to get passed it! For anyone
else
who may have this problem, this is what I did:

START/CONTROL PANEL/USER ACCOUNTS/.....AT THE BOTTOM OF THE USER ACCOUNT
PAGE
ARE ICONS OF ALL YOUR USERS. AS I AM THE ONLY USER OF MINE, I SHOULD NOT
HAVE
ANY GUEST USERS, BUT I DID!! THE ICON OF THAT STRANGE NEW GUEST WAS THE
SAME
ICON OF SOMETHING I DOWNLOADED THE OTHER DAY AND HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO DO
ANYTHING WITH IT. I CERTAINLY DIDN'T KNOW THAT IT PUT A NEW USER IN MY USER
ACCOUNT. I REALLY HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT IS. ANYWAY, I DELETED THAT ICON
AND
REBOOTED MY COMPUTER, AND VOILA.......NO MORE SPLIT BLUE SCREEN. ANN

Below is my original email to the group:
Hi, I have a new problem today. I use Windows XP and Outlook Express
and am on cable. Before today, when I boot up each morning, it would go
through the XP sign, the blue WELCOME sign and end up with my desktop
showing.
Today, instead of the full blue screen with welcome on it, I get a split
screen with welcome on one side and a box that says OWNER on the other
side. I
have to click on owner before I can get to my desktop. I am used to going
straight to my desktop after I first turn on my computer. What have I
done?
