Hi Everyone I did post this question a month or so back and I didn't get a reply so Im gonna try again lol.
I have a Pent 3 866 running XP Pro and ive done something (goodness knows what) and now its not shutting down automatically. When I used to "shut down" it would automatically turn off the computer - now it just ends up with the screen message "its now safe to turn off your computer" - which means I know have to crawl under the desk and move the hard drive everytime to get to the switch at the back. Any idea of what I have done and how I can return it to the way it was. Your answers will be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
