Thanks for the heads up. On 3 simple web web sites (plain HTML, no Java, etc.) which I wrote and maintain, all the NATATA encoded mailto:'s work fine. Re FP I help the webmaster of a site for a club. Most of my effort is changing forward-to addresses; there are very few changes to the mailto: addresses on the web pages. Since the webmaster works weird hours and does a lot of travelling, it will probably be awhile before any address encoding even gets tried. I will certainly alert her of this potential problem.
