Does anyone know of a way to find out the company or person behind a phone number? Like a website for starters (or something better)? I've tried this place, and the lookups never work, they never find anything. http://www.reversephonedirectory.com/ They did have 6 lookup areas there and now only 3.
The way to find out who is behind a website is to use Network Solution's (or others) whois search.
http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/index.jhtml
This lists the registrant (owner of the domain) and the administrative contact (person that hosts the domain).
