I set up 2 98 computers with a Linksys router and a cable modem and the network was AOK. Upgraded one compuer to XP Pro and lost all connections. The 98 can't see itself in Network Neighborhood, but if I enter the address (\\Old\c), the folders display fine. The XP pro machine sees itself, but won't connect to the 98 machine. I'm using "Add network place" for this. I can ping both computers, but Iconfig/all only shows the machine from which it is run. The router shows both computers in the DHCP Client table. I know there was a similar thread recently, but I haven't found it. What am I doing wrong?
