Thinks like this are posted a few times a week and the response is always the same: run the anti-spyware programs. ;-) The archives are full of the links if you don't already know them. It sounds like you've been hacked or hijacked by a parasite company that sells.......uhhhhhh, BLACKMAILS people into using their "product". See my post to follow this about which programs do not work. -Clint
God Bless Us All Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "annparker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I have a real nuisance on the right hand bottom corner of my desktop. It is a small advertisement about two inches wide and three inches high. I have a good popup deleter but this one comes on when I turn on my computer and I can't move it. It is always on top. I can't even read most of it as it is behind my clock, etc. It is white with a red/pink border and it says PRIVACY ALERT...WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW....YOUR COMPUTER MAY BE RECORDING MANY OR ALL OF YOUR INTERNET ACTIVITIES. PERSONAL PRIVACY..........And that is all I can read as the rest of it is below my taskbar. Thus I am not able to use about a fourth of my screen. I had to move this email over to finish it. Sure would appreciate your help. Ann ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
